Happy Mum's Day!

No Love like a Mother's Love ( P.S.-I didn't write this)

There is no love, like a mother's love,
no stronger bond on earth...
like the precious bond that comes from God,
to a mother, when she gives birth.

A mother's love is forever strong,
never changing for all time...
and when her children need her most,
a mother's love will shine.

God bless these special mothers,
God bless them every one...
for all the tears and heartache,
and for the special work they've done.

When her days on earth are over,
a mother's love lives on...
through many generations,
with God's blessings on each one.

Be thankful for our mothers,
for they love with a higher love...
from the power God has given,
and the strength from up above

This morning Darlene Zschech spoke at church about "the prayers of a mother." How powerful are the prayers of a mother! She talked about how a mother always seems to know when her child is in danger and in need of prayer. Sometimes a mother gets woken up in the middle of the night to get on her knees and pray for her child. They seem to be so in tune with God and this poem explains how deep a mother's love is. Where would we be without our mother's prayers?

Mom, thanks for always being there throughout my life, for the support and tender love and care you have provided me with for the past 19 years. Your gentle spirit and unconditional love has meant so much to me. Each year just gets better and better. I love you!

And thanks to ALL the moms out there who love their children unconditionally with the deep love the Father above has given them.

And also, a special thanks to all the women out there in my life who have impacted me in such tremendous ways. Many of you have been like a mom to me throughout the years and I'm so grateful for that!

She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue-Proverbs 31:25-26

What a wonderful tribute. I believe being a mom is the most important and rewarding job in the world and you made my job easy. Thank you for the kind words as this Mother's Day is bittersweet for me. This is the first Mother's Day in 19 years I have not spent it with you but I'm happy knowing you are having fulfilling, life-changing and fun experiences at Hillsong and in AU. Hope you have a wonderful
19th birthday with your friends and we'll celebrate when you're here in July! Love, Mom

Dear Tara,
I so enjoyed viewing your Mother's Day tribute.....you are a special daughter, and I'm sure Mom and Dad are so very proud of you and everything you are doing! I have enjoyed seeing some of your blogs and liked all the photos, especially from the Colour Conference - what an amazing experience!
Wanted you to know we are thinking of you today and will be on your upcoming 19th birthday. We would love to send you a pizza or some peanut butter cups, but think we'll opt for another option....sending cash to AZ for you to spend when you're home in July. Know you are anxious to get back to Mesa for awhile....and what stories you'll be able to share!
Enjoy this awesome year. We too are so happy for you and proud of what you are doing to fulfill your dreams!
Love,
Aunt Terry
